A lot of todays modern vehicles now come with bulb out warning systems. These alert the driver when a bulb in the headlight or rear lights has blown. Traditional LEDs can cause the system to display a bulb out warning. These revolutionary LEDs have in built modern technology that tells the car they are a regular bulb. Thus, no warning errors occur. Additionally, these can solve the problem of the LED interior light staying on problem. Sometimes when you upgrade your interior light from bulb to LED, the LED festoon can stay faintly lit when switched off - these canbus festoons will not do this.
In manufacturers such as Audi, Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Mercedes traditional LED sidelights may flicker or cause bulb error warnings. These LEDs do not do this. They are CAN-BUS ready
NEW HEAT SINK DESIGN!
- From experience in this market we have found that other canbus festoons have a tendancy to overheat. When they overheat the SMD 5050 leds pop, and no longer work. We have now developed with our suppliers these great canbus festoons that will work great as lisence plate lights, and will not burn out due to the integrated heat sink!
This style bulb works great as canbus number plate lights / canbus interior lights / canbus door lights. They will fit any fixture that uses a festoon bulb of 39mm - 42mm
